Job Description
Job Overview We are looking for a dependable and experienced Dog Trainer who can confidently work with dogs of different breeds, sizes, temperaments, and training levels. The right candidate will be comfortable working independently while also contributing to a professional team environment. Duties Conduct obedience and behavior-training sessions Work with dogs enrolled in day-training and board-and-train programs Safely handle large, energetic, reactive, and nervous dogs Follow established training plans and safety procedures Track and communicate each dog's progress Teach owners how to maintain their dog's training at home Help maintain clean, organized, and professional training areas Provide excellent customer service Requirements Professional dog-training or handling experience preferred Strong understanding of canine behavior and body language Confident handling dogs of all breeds and sizes Reliable, punctual, patient, and safety-focused Strong communication and customer-service skills Able to work independently and accept coaching Able to stand for extended periods and perform physically active work Weekend and holiday availability may be required Join us in creating happier pets and more harmonious homes!
