LIVE-IN - We have a residence one he property that has its own bedroom and bathroom. We are looking for an experienced dog trainer that can grow our training side of the business. If you are interested in the position but don't want to be a live-in that is ok as well. With a commitment to providing exceptional care and fun experiences for dogs, we have successfully built the biggest pack walking and daycare company in OC. We are expanding our training department and looking for the right candidates to join the team. Summary We are seeking a passionate Dog Trainer to join our team at Dog Republic. In this role, you will be responsible for training dogs of various breeds and temperaments, ensuring they develop good behavior and social skills. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all dogs in our care. Responsibilities Develop and implement effective training programs tailored to individual dog needs. Conduct group training sessions and one-on-one lessons with clients and their dogs. Monitor dog behavior during training sessions to ensure safety and effectiveness. Provide guidance to dog owners on best practices for continued training at home. Maintain accurate records of each dog's progress and communicate updates to owners. Collaborate with the team to create engaging activities that promote socialization among dogs. Requirements Proven experience as a dog trainer or in a similar role working with various breeds. Strong understanding of canine behavior and effective training techniques. Excellent customer service skills to engage with dog owners positively. Ability to handle multiple dogs safely in various environments. Certifications in dog training or animal behavior are preferred but not mandatory.
