Job Description
Overview This is a great opportunity to work with dogs. We are seeking dedicated and passionate canine lovers who enjoy working cooperatively with other team members. In this role, you will work closely with dogs, ensuring their well-being and providing them with the necessary care. The ideal candidate has qualities like team playing, reliability, and a genuine love for animals. Must be positive, dependable, and teachable. You will be responsible for creating a safe and positive environment for our canine companions while also engaging with pet owners to provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Yard Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, grooming, and exercising. Train dogs in basic obedience and behavioral skills. Monitor the health and behavior of the dogs, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel. Maintain clean and safe environments in kennels or training areas. Assist in the socialization of dogs to promote positive interactions with people and other animals. Engage with pet owners, providing updates on their pets' progress and addressing any questions or concerns. Utilize animal restraint techniques as necessary to ensure safety during handling. Must be comfortable bathing dogs Office A genuine love and understanding of dogs Reliable transportation and excellent punctuality Engage with pet owners, providing updates on their pets' progress and addressing any questions or concerns. Phone/Email communication Computer work Hardworking with strong attention to detail Friendly, Positive, People-person with great customer service skills Qualifications Experience in dog training or handling is preferred. Background in pet care, veterinary assistance, or kennel management is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing high-quality care for pets. Certification in pet grooming or related fields is advantageous but not required.
