We are looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Sunday AM Kennel Assistant to open the kennel, care for boarding dogs, and prepare the facility for the day's activities. This role is ideal for someone mature, steady, and comfortable working in a hands‑on environment with clear protocols and routines. Responsibilities Each item begins with a Guided Link. Open the kennel and prepare the facility for the day Perform morning health checks on boarding dogs Review boarding sheets and confirm who is checking in/out Run potty rotations (group and one‑on‑one) Serve breakfast following feeding instructions Manage free time and take/send client photos Set up the meditation room for the hiker Support the hiker with dog transitions Clean and reset rooms Wash dishes and maintain sanitation standards Prepare checkout items for departing dogs Sweep, mop, and lock up at end of shift You're a Great Fit If You Are Reliable and punctual Calm, patient, and structured Comfortable with dogs of all sizes Able to follow detailed protocols Good at multitasking in a busy environment Friendly and professional with clients Physically capable of standing, bending, lifting up to 40 lbs Requirements Must be comfortable working around dogs Must be able to work every Sunday Must be able to stand/walk for several hours Must be able to follow safety and handling protocols Prior dog daycare, kennel, or animal care experience is a plus but not required Pay $20/hour Weekly pay Training provided
