Job Description

Do you like to be around animals? Have you ever thought about working with dogs? Not in sick hospital way, or homeless shelter way, but in play, happy way? Well if you have, this may be your chance!! We are an established dog care facility and we have openings for 2 full time permanent employees. If you lift 50 lbs.? If you can tolerate being on your feet for most of your shift (7-8 hours), cleaning up after dogs, in a loud and sometimes hot, sometimes, cold environment? This isn't the type of work for the average dog lover, you have to really love dogs. In this job you will be managing dogs in a dog park environment. You will be making sure they play properly, preventing fights, scooping, hosing and mopping up after them. You will be feeding and medicating them. All the stuff it takes to care for them while their humans are traveling, or at work. You will learn about dog behavior and how to manage their behavior. You can bring your dog to daycare and board them for FREE! Get dog food and supplies for wholesale. These are permanent positions, in a family owned and operated company, with a family type atmosphere. We hire people, not numbers, and we work side by side with them. Your schedule will be a 35-40 hours a week and will include the weekends and may be either morning or evening shifts. Holidays (all) will be included, as that's the busiest time for our industry. Morning shift during the week is 6:30 to 3:30 and 7:30 to 4:30 on the weekends, evening shift is 10:30 to 7:30 all week. To apply for this position please respond with a brief cover letter detailing why you are the right person for this position, and a resume with your last five years of employment and contact information. Replies without a cover letter and resume will not be considered. Past employers will be contacted, and a background check may be performed. We are looking for someone that wants to work with dogs.
