Dog Daycare Attendant / Kennel Technician (Full-Time)
Pay:
Based on experience Love dogs and don't mind hard work? We're hiring a reliable, team-oriented person to join our fast-paced daycare and boarding facility. What You'll Do Provide daily care including feeding, watering, and monitoring dogs based on individual needs Maintain a high standard of cleanliness through regular disinfecting and deep cleaning of kennels and play areas Supervise structured playgroups and monitor dog behavior to ensure safe, appropriate interactions Assist with evaluating and introducing dogs into appropriate groups Accurately track feeding, medications, and behavior notes in kennel software Support check-in and pick-up routines with clear, professional communication Perform bathing, nail trims, and basic grooming tasks as assigned Complete laundry, dishes, and general facility upkeep Keep supplies stocked and organized Follow all handling, safety, and sanitation protocols What We're Looking For Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments Able to stay engaged, observant, and proactive in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic with attention to detail in both dog care and cleaning tasks Reliable, punctual, and consistent Able to work independently and stay on-task without constant supervision Open to direct feedback and willing to follow established protocols Understands that this role includes a significant amount of cleaning and routine work Maintains a professional presence, including limited personal phone use during shifts Prior animal care experience preferred, but not required Physical Requirements On your feet and active for most of the shift Able to lift 40-50 lbs and handle dogs of varying sizes Frequent bending, lifting, and cleaning tasks Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions Training & Expectations All new hires complete a hands-on training period with on-duty managers. Training is structured and performance-based, with a focus on proper handling, safety, and consistency. Team members are expected to follow established systems and contribute to a calm, organized environment. Success in this role comes from reliability, attention to detail, open to feedback, and a willingness to do things the right way-not the easy way.
