This role is essential for ensuring the safety, well-being of dogs at our doggy day care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal handling or a willingness to learn and a genuine love for working with dogs. As a Canine Handler, you will be responsible for managing various canine behaviors, watching and checking in dogs.
This is a great environment for people who love dogs. Our englewood facility has outdoor and indoor areas employee break rooms and a very fun easy going work environment. Duties Handle and care for dogs of various breeds and temperaments, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Provide pet care services Maintain cleanliness in the dog handling and watching area. Monitor the health and behavior of each dog, reporting any concerns to staff or management promptly. Checking in dogs on our Gingr software and returning them to their owner. Occasional bathing of dogs Experience Previous experience in dog handling or related fields such as veterinary assistance, animal care, or pet sitting is preferred but will train the right dog lover. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to animal welfare and possess excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both animals, team members and clients. 12:30-6:30 Monday thruFriday Afternoons:
