Job Description
Trumbull Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced kennel assistant to join our team.
Essential job functions will include:
- Walking all dogs
- Cleaning litter boxes
- Properly documenting in files/computer
- Recognizing emergency situations
- Cleaning and disinfecting food/water bowls
- Cleaning all runs and cages properly
- Being able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Being able to take dogs outside for walks throughout the year and in inclement weather
- Record and label all belongings
- Positive interaction with clients
- Being able to work with the treatment team
- Must be able to work without supervision Must be able to work Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
