Job Description

We are seeking energetic and compassionate Pet Boarding Support Staff to provide exceptional care and attention to pets in our boarding facility. In this vital role, you will ensure that each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved during their stay. Your enthusiasm for animal care, combined with your ability to handle animals confidently and professionally, will create a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
Duties will include:
Monitor and care for pets in boarding kennels, ensuring their safety, cleanliness, and comfort at all times Engage in dog handling and training activities Provide scheduled pet services: feeding, walking, playing with, and administering medication as needed Handle animals with proper restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff during interactions or procedures Maintain detailed records of each pet's health status, behavior notes, feeding schedules, and special needs Communicate effectively with senior staff regarding pet's condition, updates, and any concerns that arise Previous experience working with animals in veterinary clinics, kennels, or pet grooming facilities is highly preferred. Any knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures enhances your ability to care for pets effectively. Strong animal handling skills with the ability to work with animals of various sizes and temperaments will be needed. Heavy lifting will be needed when necessary to move supplies or assist with large animals or crates. Your dedication will help ensure every furry guest has a happy, healthy stay while providing peace of mind to their owners.
