Role:

Zen Canine Club is a wellness-focused dog care facility committed to structured play, mental enrichment, and high safety standards. We're hiring Pack Members to join our enrichment and safety team. This role goes beyond simply supervising dogs. You'll help manage structured playgroups, maintain a clean and safe facility, and collaborate with grooming, training, and hotel staff to ensure every dog receives exceptional care. We're looking for calm, reliable individuals who take pride in doing things the right way, are open to feedback, and want to grow their skills in a supportive, professional environment.

Schedule Requirements:

This is a part-time position (2-3 shifts per week). While we maintain consistent expectations, we are flexible with which specific days and shift blocks our part-time employees work. Availability should include at least one weekend shift and availability for at least one of the following shift blocks:

Morning Openers:

7:00 AM

•4:00 PM (at least 2 weekdays)

Weekend Shifts:

Saturday 8:00 AM

•4:00 PM and/or Sunday 9:00 AM

•4:00

PM Afternoon Shifts:

9:00 AM

•6:00 PM (based on weekly scheduling needs) We build schedules collaboratively and take your availability into account. Reliability and consistency are essential.

Compensation and Benefits:

Starting pay: $15/hour (based on experience and trial performance) After a 90 day review, staff will be raised based on performance

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise dog playgroups with awareness, structure, and calm control Make real-time decisions based on dog energy, temperament, and group dynamics Follow and enforce leash handling, kennel latching, and safety protocols Communicate with grooming, training, and hotel teams throughout the day Assist with feeding, water changes, and kennel transitions Maintain clean and safe play yards, suites, and relief zones Report incidents in real time with accuracy and accountability Check in and out customers in a timely and respectful fashion Assist in answering phone calls and answering customer questions
