Responsibilities Conduct dog training sessions focused on obedience, behavior modification, and socialization skills using positive reinforcement techniques Assist with pet sitting, pet boarding, and daily pet care routines to ensure animals are comfortable and engaged Handle dogs safely during walks, playtime, grooming, and training activities while demonstrating proper animal handling and restraint techniques Maintain cleanliness of the facility by sanitizing kennels, grooming areas, and common spaces in accordance with health standards Support animal care tasks including feeding, bathing, grooming, and administering basic veterinary assistance under supervision when needed Monitor animal behavior closely to identify signs of stress or illness and communicate observations to veterinary staff or supervisors Engage with pet owners professionally to provide updates on their pets' progress and address any questions about training or care Skills Veterinary experience or veterinary technician background that provides knowledge of animal health and behavior Experience in pet sitting, dog training, kennel work or animal handling that demonstrates comfort working with various breeds and temperaments Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling supplies or assisting with animal movement Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and pet grooming practices to ensure safety during handling procedures Outdoor work experience that includes walking dogs in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols Familiarity with pet care facility sanitization standards to uphold a clean environment conducive to animal health Join us as a Canine Coach where your dedication transforms everyday interactions into meaningful experiences for pets and their owners!
