Northbridge University is looking for a qualified Grooming Adjunct Instructor. Our campuses are growing! If you have a passion for teaching, we'd like to talk to you. Classes usually run from Monday to Thursday and can be held in the mornings or evenings.
Minimum requirements:
    Educational Background:
    Minimum of an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology, Animal Science, or a related field.
      Professional Experience:
      At least three years of experience in pet grooming.
      • A combination of work experience and/or required credentials in the field they will be teaching, preferred.
      • Pet grooming certification, preferred.
      • Passion for education with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. In Florida, pet grooming does not require a state-issued license, but there are professional certifications: While neither profession requires a state license, the ideal candidate should have:
      • NDGAA - National Dog Groomer Association of America -Pet grooming certification, preferred.
      • Academic programs are available on a monthly basis.
      • Must be computer literate in order to maintain and manage the course documents within the learning management system and also educational resources.
