In this vital role, you will create a stimulating environment that promotes animal welfare, health, and happiness. Your expertise will help ensure that every animal receives personalized care, enrichment activities, and a safe, comfortable habitat. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals while working in a collaborative and energetic setting. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging enrichment programs tailored to dogs to promote natural behaviors and mental stimulation Assist with daily tasks, including feeding, cleaning kennels, and grooming Handle animals safely and confidently Support staff in various roles Monitor animal behavior closely to identify signs of stress or illness, ensuring prompt intervention or communication with veterinary personnel Maintain detailed records of animal health, behavior observations, enrichment activities, and routines Skills Proven experience with kennel management, pet care, or animal handling in a professional setting preffered Skilled in cleaning protocols, record keeping, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety for both animals and staff Strong communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration within an animal care environment Demonstrated understanding of animal husbandry practices and the importance of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety We are committed to fostering a supportive environment that values your skills while prioritizing animal welfare at every step.
