Main duties include:
Train dogs assigned to you, update clients, do go homes with clients, private lessons, group classes, in home lessons, kennel cleaning, letting dogs out, feeding and grooming dogs, assisting with training, exercising dogs, and general care of dogs. Experience is not necessary but common sense is. I will train you in all safety procedures, handling, and understanding dog behavior. You must complete an unpaid apprenticeship before taking on clients dogs. Individual must be at least 18 years of age and have reliable transportation. The ideal candidate is able to board at least 1 dog in their home at a time MUST be confident around all dogs of all sizes and breeds. MUST be able to work a physically demanding job in all kinds of weather. MUST be comfortable learning to use slip leads, long lines, prong collars, e-collars, etc. This job is not for everyone. Must have excellent work ethic and a strong passion for dogs in order to succeed.
