Professional Dog Trainer -
Full-Time Location:
Winter Park, FL We are looking for a passionate, motivated, and experienced Professional Dog Trainer to join our growing team. This is a full-time position working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and behavioral challenges. Responsibilities Train dogs using balanced training methods. Teach and reinforce obedience commands including: Sit Down Stay Heel Place Recall (Come) Build engagement and focus with dogs. Conduct proper desensitization and socialization exercises. Work with resource guarding, leash pulling, reactivity, and behavioral issues. Train puppies as well as adult dogs. Safely handle large, strong, fearful, and reactive dogs. Maintain a clean and organized training environment. Communicate professionally with clients and provide training updates. Requirements Previous professional dog training experience is required. Comfortable working with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. Strong understanding of canine behavior and learning theory. Confident handling difficult or reactive dogs. Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of working with active dogs. Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Language Requirements Fluent English is required. Spanish is highly preferred. Schedule Full-time Monday through Saturday 8-hour shifts Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
