Job Description

Join our dynamic team, specializing in international pet relocation and domestic pet taxi. Please only apply if you enjoy driving long distances and are completely comfortable with animals. The amount of time worked will very based on the number of bookings we get as a company. Duties Local transport and long distance drives. Overnight stay in hotel needed on occasion. Handling and check-in of pets at ATL airport. Provide compassionate pet care by feeding, walking, and monitoring animals' health and behavior. Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff Build and move plastic crates used for animal travel Qualifications Prior experience working with animals such as veterinary technician or assistant experience, kennel work, or pet sitting or transport is a MUST Clean driving record Knowledge of dog training techniques and dog handling skills Strong animal handling skills with the ability to perform animal restraint safely and effectively Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for animal transport or equipment handling Must be able to pass background check Carry your own pet care liability coverage (we will recommend a provider).
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
