Job Overview Join our vibrant pet care team as a Kennel Technician and Doggie Daycare Attendant, where your enthusiasm for animals and dedication to their well-being will shine! In this dynamic role, you'll be the heartbeat of our pet care facility, ensuring dogs are happy, healthy, and well-cared-for during their stay. Your energy and compassion will create a safe, fun environment that pet owners trust and cherish. This paid position offers the opportunity to develop your animal handling skills while making a positive impact on pets' lives every day. Duties Provide attentive care to dogs in kennel and daycare settings, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness throughout their stay Assist with pet feeding, medication administration, and daily health monitoring to promote overall well-being Handle dog training exercises and reinforce good behavior using positive reinforcement techniques Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and grooming stations through thorough sanitization and organization Monitor animal behavior to identify signs of stress or illness, reporting concerns promptly to veterinary staff or management Engage in outdoor activities with dogs, including walks and playtime, ensuring proper animal restraint and handling at all times Support pet boarding operations by assisting with check-in/check-out procedures and providing exceptional customer service to pet owners Qualifications Prior veterinary experience or veterinary technician experience is highly desirable Experience in pet sitting, dog training, or animal handling enhances your ability to succeed in this role Strong knowledge of animal behavior, restraint techniques, and kennel sanitation practices is preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting and team lifting safely when handling large or multiple animals Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Passion for animal care combined with a proactive attitude toward pet health and happiness Join us if you're eager to work in a lively environment where your love for animals makes a real difference! Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
