Job Description

We're looking for a dog enthusiast that would like to supplement their income as an assistant trainer for our board and train program at our Gainesville location. Additional opportunities and room for growth will likely be available over time. You will be responsible for working with our rotation of 5-6 board and train dogs at our facility in the Gainesville area for some night and weekend shifts and handling any client communication while you're working.
Requirements:
  • CPDT-KA certification or similar (or willing to sit for the test at the next exam period)
  • A commitment to LIMA/reward-based methods
  • At least 1 year of experience in a role working with clients and dogs
  • Ability to handle and work efficiently with a variety of dogs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Monitor and assess the progress of dogs during training sessions, adjusting techniques as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of training sessions and progress reports.
