Responsibilities Supervise dogs during playtime, rest periods, and mealtimes to ensure safety and positive behavior Use dog handling skills to manage various temperaments, applying animal restraint techniques when necessary Assist with basic dog training exercises to promote good manners and social skills Monitor dog interactions closely, intervening promptly to prevent conflicts or injuries Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area, including grooming stations and play zones Provide pet sitting services by caring for dogs when owners are away or at work Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior, health status, and special needs Requirements Must have at minimum of 1 year of industry experience handling dogs. (vet office, grooming salon, boarding/daycare work, kennel experience) 18+ Required for employment Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for cleaning supplies or equipment setup Strong animal handling skills, including animal restraint and care techniques Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with pet owners and visitors Passion for animal care combined with a responsible attitude toward safety and well-being. experience working with dogs required, no applicant will be considered without experience as this position requires knowledge of working with dogs.
