This role involves working closely with dogs individually or in a small playgroup setting, ensuring their safety, well-being, and training. The Enrichment specialist will play a crucial hands-on role in providing excellent care and support to our canine clients while maintaining a positive environment for both pets and their owners. Responsibilities Caring for, supervising, and enriching play groups of dogs according to the latest science-based dog behavior and training knowledge received during training. This will include playing with dogs, working on group play skills to increase safety, engaging in enrichment activities, brushing, petting, holding, crating, leashing, collaring, clothing (when jackets are needed), feeding, medicating, cleaning up after dogs. Handle dogs of various breeds and temperaments with confidence and skill. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility. Works as a team member with others and management in providing dog day care program, sleepover, and Stay & Play services. Helps to ensure that customer satisfaction is consistently obtained. Helps to support the efficient and effective operation of the facility including our mission to provide Whole Dog Care and Enrichment to all dogs in our care daily. Helps to maintain the highest company standards in the delivery of all services. Is directly responsible for duties as assigned by management. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during interactions with animals. Is directly responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment at all times for the dogs in our care. Is directly responsible for providing and documenting the appropriate information about individual dogs under their supervision per the defined communication policies. Ability to work periodically on weekends to support boarding clients Experience Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners. Previous experience in dog handling or animal care is preferred. Familiarity with dog daycare operations and pet grooming techniques is advantageous. Experience in dog training or as a veterinary technician is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs., prolonged standing and working outdoors is required. A genuine passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing high-quality care. Basic computer skills to handle making reservations, and checking in guests Ability to work Saturday and Sunday 3:00PM-7:00PM is required We are open 365 days/year.
