Responsibilities Safely handle and control dogs during daily activities, training sessions, and outdoor walks Assist with pet boarding, pet sitting, and animal care routines to ensure comfort and safety Perform animal restraint techniques to manage dogs during grooming, veterinary visits, or training Maintain cleanliness of pet care facilities through sanitization and regular cleaning routines Support pet grooming activities including bathing, brushing, and basic trimming as needed Monitor animal behavior to identify signs of stress or discomfort and respond appropriately Assist with kennel management, including feeding, exercising, and supervising outdoor playtime Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners and addressing their concerns Skills Veterinary experience or veterinary technician background preferred for understanding animal health needs Experience in pet sitting, dog training, or kennel management to handle diverse canine temperaments Strong animal handling skills with knowledge of animal restraint techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting and team lifting when moving supplies or large dogs safely Knowledge of pet grooming, animal behavior, and pet care best practices Outdoor work experience to manage dogs during walks or outdoor activities in various weather conditions Excellent customer service skills to engage with pet owners professionally and compassionately Commitment to maintaining a clean environment through sanitization and facility upkeep Join us as a Dog Handler where your passion for animals meets a lively work environment!
