Role:
We are looking for looking for a passionate and energetic Dog Hotel Team Member to join our pack in Chicago, IL! If you love dogs and want to spend your days making tails wag, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Come be part of a team that's dedicated to providing top-notch care and a home-away-from-home experience for our four-legged guests.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor dogs during play groups, rest periods. Feed, water, and administer medications to guests according to owner instructions Maintain clean and sanitary kennel environments through regular cleaning and disinfecting Assess dog behavior and temperament to ensure safe and positive group interactions Communicate updates and daily reports to pet owners regarding their dog's stay Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, verifying vaccination records and owner information Identify and report any signs of illness, injury, or behavioral concerns to management
Requirements:
Genuine love for dogs and experience handling multiple breeds and sizes Ability to stand, walk, and be physically active for extended periods throughout the shift Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize dog body language and stress signals Reliable, punctual, and able to work some weekends, some holidays, and early morning or evening shifts Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members Previous experience in pet care, dog daycare, veterinary, or kennel settings is a plus Ability to remain calm and act quickly in high-energy or unexpected situations Bathing dogs as needed.
