The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong understanding of dog handling and dogs body language specifically with GROUPS of dogs. (Typically, 15-30 dogs on the floor with 2-3 staff.) We are looking for applicants who are confident in overseeing all dog interactions. This role involves providing high-quality care to animals in our facility, ensuring their well-being while maintaining a clean and safe environment. This is a physical and active job where all staff members are expected to be on their feet majority of shift. Duties Monitor dog behaviors in a group setting Provide daily care for dogs, including exercise, enrichment, light grooming, and feeding. Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to manager on duty. Requirements Previous experience in animal handling or kennel environments is a MUST. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed is a must! Shifts available Monday-Friday. AM Shift 7am-12pm PM Shift 2pm-8pm Ideal candidates would be taking 2-3 shifts per week. Weekend and holiday hours available based on amount of dogs boarding.
