About the Position Urban Pooch Canine Life Center is seeking an animal-loving, dependable Overnight Boarding Counselor to play an imperative role in providing exceptional love and care to our pooch guests. As an Overnight Boarding Counselor, you'll supervise and engage dogs of all sizes and personalities. You'll monitor behavior, read body language, and help maintain safe, structured group play. This is an active role that involves standing for long periods, bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and cleaning throughout the day—including handling pet messes. Teamwork is essential, as you'll collaborate closely with coworkers to ensure a safe, organized, and positive environment for every guest. Qualifications Experience in pet care, daycare, boarding, or a related field preferred Strong understanding of dog behavior and body language Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts and lift 50+ pounds Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays Calm under pressure and confident in high-energy settings Reliable, honest, and a strong communicator Positive attitude and team-player mindset Schedule This position will work the overnight shift of 11 pm to 7 am This is a permanent full-time position. This role will require availability on weekends and holidays.
