Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dog Attendant and become a vital part of providing exceptional care and love to our canine companions! In this energetic role, you will engage with dogs of all breeds and temperaments, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness. Your enthusiasm for animal care, combined with your ability to handle dogs confidently and compassionately, will make a real difference in the lives of pets and their owners. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively environment dedicated to animal well-being and customer satisfaction. Duties Safely handle and restrain dogs during feeding, grooming, and playing Assist with dog activities to promote good behavior and socialization skills Provide pet grooming services such as bathing, brushing, to keep dogs clean and healthy Monitor dogs' behavior closely, recognizing signs of stress or discomfort, and respond appropriately to ensure their safety Maintain a clean and organized kennel area, including cleaning cages, bedding, and feeding supplies regularly Experience Prior experience working with animals in veterinary clinics, kennels, pet grooming salons or pet sitting roles is highly desirable Knowledge of dog training and handling techniques enhances your ability to excel in this role Demonstrated ability in animal handling and restraint ensures safe interactions with dogs of all sizes and temperaments Experience in pet grooming or pet care services is a strong asset Excellent customer service skills are essential for communicating effectively with pet owners and team members Requirements Physical stamina and mobility for lifting (such as assisting large dogs, large bags of dog food, etc.) and handling large breed dogs (without harm) are required to perform daily duties effectively Reliable transportation
