Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, and exercising
  • Clean and maintain kennel areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for the animals
  • Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
  • Administer medications or treatments as directed by trainer or supervisor
  • Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
  • Interact with clients and provide information about the animals in the kennel
Skills:
  • Experience in animal handling and restraint techniques
  • Knowledge of basic dog training principles and techniques
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, such as bags of food or large dogs, up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients in a professional manner
  • Familiarity with pet sitting and care routines
  • Understanding of basic veterinary procedures and terminology is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Schedule:
  • 6-9 PM Monday through Friday
  • Weekend shifts available as well
