Job Summary Are you passionate about animals and eager to provide loving, attentive care to dogs? We are seeking a dedicated Dog Sitter who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys building trusting relationships with pets and their owners. In this role, you will ensure dogs are safe, happy, and well-cared for during their owners' absence. Your energetic approach and animal handling expertise will make a positive difference in the lives of furry friends while offering peace of mind to their families. Duties Provide daily pet sitting services, including feeding, supervising group play, and administering medication as needed Engage dogs in stimulating outdoor activities such as fetch, and exercise routines to promote physical health Monitor animal behavior closely to ensure safety and address any signs of distress or discomfort Maintain clean and safe environments during pet care sessions, including cleaning and outdoor area management. Daily photo update with clients Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills Requirements Proven experience in dog handling, pet sitting Knowledge of veterinary procedures, veterinary technician or assistant experience is a plus Familiarity with animal behavior, pet grooming, and pet exercise routines Ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions Strong communication skills for client interaction and reporting on pet well-being Experience with animal restraint techniques and managing multiple pets simultaneously Reliable transportation and flexibility to provide overnight care when required
