Wichita, KS Job Details $10 - $12 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Companion animal handling Animal behavior Dog handling Full Job Description Beauties & Beasts, a dog rescue/daycare/boarding facility in Wichita, KS is looking for an individual to join our team at our downtown Wichita location at 114 S Pattie Ave. Our ideal candidate is physically active, reliable, compassionate, patient and willing to learn as well as self motivated and not afraid to get your hands dirty. Knowledge on dog body language and breeds is a must. If you love animals, thrive in a hands-on environment, and want a role where every day truly makes a difference, this is the perfect opportunity for you. What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is: Physically active and able to work in a fast paced enrivonment Reliable! The dogs and the team depend on you! Compassionate, patient, and eager to learn Self-motivated, flexible, and not afraid to get their hands dirty Able to work weekends and holidays Responsibilities As a Kennel Technician, you will: Provide daily care, feeding, and enrichment for dogs and cats Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary environment for both animals and people Handle and interact with animals in a compassionate, humane manner Monitor animal behavior, health, and well-being Assist in playtime and socialization to help animals feel comfortable and loved Supervise and engage with daycare groups Qualifications Previous experience handling dogs is required Strong understanding of dog breeds and body language Must be 18 years or older!
