Job Overview Professional Dog Bather / Grooming Assistant K9 Design Mobile Grooming & Pet Salon is growing, and we're looking for a Professional Dog Bather/Grooming Assistant to join our team! At K9 Design, we believe our employees are more than just coworkers—we're a team and a family. We work hard, help each other, have fun, and share one very important thing: a love for dogs. This is a paid hourly position PLUS tips, with hands-on training and the opportunity to learn and grow in the professional grooming industry. What You'll Do Professionally bathe, dry and brush dogs of all breeds and sizes Prepare dogs for our professional groomers Perform basic grooming tasks such as nail trimming and ear cleaning Safely handle and restrain dogs while keeping their comfort and safety a priority Assist groomers and other team members throughout the day Keep bathing areas, kennels, equipment and workspaces clean and sanitary Help keep the salon organized and running efficiently Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with clients What We're Looking For A genuine love for dogs and animal care Dependable, punctual and ready to work Positive attitude and strong work ethic Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment Able to safely lift and handle dogs of various sizes Willing to get wet, get covered in dog hair and stay active throughout the day Someone who understands that teamwork is a huge part of this position Previous professional bathing, grooming, veterinary, kennel or dog-handling experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has a great attitude and a desire to learn.
