Love dogs and want a job where you get to work with them every day? ZenDog is looking for a dependable, hardworking Dog Day School Handler to join our team! Our handlers play an important role in keeping the dogs in our care safe, happy, clean, and comfortable . This is an active, hands-on position for someone who enjoys dogs but also understands that excellent pet care takes hard work, attention to detail, and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

Supervise dogs during structured play and group activities Monitor dog body language, behavior, and interactions Follow safety procedures and help maintain appropriate playgroups Feed, water, potty, and care for dogs throughout their stay Clean kennels, play areas, yards, dishes, and other spaces Assist with enrichment activities and daily routines Communicate with team members about each dog's behavior and needs Help create a safe, positive environment for every dog in our care

Schedule:

This is a part-time position averaging 15-25 hours per week . Applicants must have availability for a combination of mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays .

Weekday Shifts:

6:30 am

•1 pm 1 pm

•7:30 pm

Weekend Shifts:

6:30 am

•11:30 am 3 pm

•7:30 pm

Who We're Looking For:

We want someone who is reliable, observant, patient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment . You should be willing to learn about dog behavior and body language and be comfortable working with dogs of different sizes, breeds, personalities, and energy levels. This job involves plenty of dogs—but it also involves cleaning, being on your feet, working outdoors, handling noise, and getting a little dirty.
