Job Overview Join our vibrant pet care team as a Dog Daycare Attendant and Canine Coach, where your passion for animals and energetic spirit will shine! In this dynamic role, you will be the heart of our dog daycare, ensuring each furry guest receives exceptional care, safe socialization, and engaging activities. Your enthusiasm will help create a lively, positive environment that promotes canine well-being and happiness. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with dogs of all breeds and temperaments while supporting their physical and emotional health. Duties Supervise daily dog playgroups, ensuring safe interactions and positive socialization among dogs of various sizes and temperaments Assist with dog handling, including feeding, walking, grooming, and administering basic pet care routines Monitor dogs for signs of stress or discomfort; implement appropriate behavior management techniques and animal restraint when necessary Maintain a clean and sanitized environment by performing regular cleaning, kennel sanitization, and facility upkeep in accordance with health standards Support team lifting efforts when moving heavy equipment or large dogs safely to prevent injury Engage dogs in outdoor activities, play sessions, and training exercises to promote physical activity and mental stimulation Qualifications Prior veterinary experience or veterinary technician experience is highly desirable Experience in pet sitting, dog training, kennel work, or animal handling is preferred Ability to handle multiple dogs simultaneously with patience and confidence Physical stamina for outdoor work and heavy lifting; ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods Commitment to maintaining a clean environment through sanitization and facility cleaning protocols Previous pet grooming or animal restraint experience is a plus Join us in creating a lively, caring environment where dogs thrive!
