Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Team Member to join our crew at our busy daycare, boarding and training facility. In this role you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to the dogs in our facility. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals with a passion for animal care and customer service.
PLEASE NOTE
This is not a seasonal/Summer job. We are looking for a year round commitment. Please do not apply if you cannot commit to year round. We are looking for 20-25 hours a week MINIMUM. Full time is available as well.
Duties:
  • Supervise and monitor dogs in the daycare facility with active engagement and company led positive training objectives & activities
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in your care
  • Assist with feeding, handling, and administering medications as needed
  • Engage in playtime activities with the dogs, including positive training and interactive play sessions
  • Clean and maintain the daycare facility, including sanitizing kennels and common areas
  • Collaborate with the daycare team to ensure a positive and enriching environment for all dogs
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with animals, such as kennel work, veterinary assistant, or pet grooming preferred.
  • Ability to handle dogs of various sizes, levels of human comfort and play styles
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays Please note that all positions at our daycare facility are paid positions.
