Job Summary As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and enjoyable environment for dogs in our care. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and engage with the dogs, ensuring their well-being while fostering a fun atmosphere. This position is perfect for animal lovers who are dedicated to providing exceptional care and attention to our furry clients. Duties Supervise dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being. Engage with dogs through play and exercise, promoting socialization among them. Monitor the health and behavior of each dog, reporting any concerns to management. Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the daycare, including play areas and kennels. Administer basic care such as feeding, watering, and administering medications if required. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their dog's day. Assist in training activities as needed to promote good behavior among the dogs. Skills Experience in pet sitting or dog handling is highly desirable. Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal behavior is a plus. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners. Proficient in animal handling and restraint techniques for various breeds and sizes. Familiarity with veterinary practices or experience as a veterinary technician is beneficial. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Passion for animal care and commitment to providing a safe environment for all pets. Pay:
$13.73 - $16.00 per hour
