We are looking for a responsible, dog loving Office Assistant / Kennel Support person to work flexible hours at Jagersbo Kennel. We are looking for a long term candidate that will be available throughout the whole year. Hours range from 6:30am - 10:30 am, 2:30pm - 6:30pm. This is a part time position. We are hoping we can offer more full time hours as the summer approaches, dependent on clientel. We are able to offer 9-15 hours a week. Week day and weekend shifts are available.

Duties include:

assisting in daily office needs, dog intake and pick up for boarding and daycare, making reservations, answering email/phone requests, simple cash and check transactions, minor computer work, cleaning duties and attending to our canine guests- which does include feeding, medicating, bathing and playing with them. This candidate should be able to handle all kinds of dogs- small, large, old, puppy-like. They should be able to handle dogs that are people aggressive or dog aggressive, and know what to do during these situations. Also, the ideal candidate should have good communication skills, high knowledge of dogs, and basic computer knowledge. They should have a good independent work ethic as most shifts you will work alone once trained properly.
