Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Dog Daycare Attendant and Canine Coach, where your passion for animals and energetic spirit will help create a safe, fun, and enriching environment for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. In this role, you will be the heart of our dog care operations, ensuring each pup receives attentive care, proper training, and socialization opportunities. Your dedication will foster happy, well-behaved dogs while providing exceptional customer service to pet owners. This paid position offers a dynamic work environment where your skills in animal handling, training, and pet care will shine. Duties Report at 5 am to start daily care for boarding dogs. Supervise daily activities in the daycare, ensuring dogs are engaged, safe, and comfortable at all times Implement basic dog training techniques to promote good behavior and socialization skills Handle dogs with care using proper animal restraint and handling techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff Assist with pet grooming, bathing, and general pet care routines to maintain hygiene and health standards Monitor dogs for signs of stress or illness; communicate with veterinary professionals when necessary Provide excellent customer service by updating pet owners on their dog's behavior and well-being during visits Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving crates or supplies to support daily operations Experience Prior experience working with dogs through pet sitting, kennel work, or animal handling roles is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training methods and veterinary experience is a strong asset Background in veterinary technician or veterinary assistant roles demonstrates valuable animal care skills Experience in pet grooming or pet sitting enhances your ability to provide comprehensive care Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and kennel procedures ensures safe handling practices Strong customer service skills are essential for engaging with pet owners confidently Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods is required for the role Join us to make a positive impact on dogs' lives while building rewarding skills in animal care and training!
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour
