The Canine Coach Trainer (CCT) is the steady, hands-on leader who runs all things back of house and ensures that the heart of our business
•safe, engaging care for the dogs
•is delivered at the highest standard. The CCT plays a key role in setting the tone for the dog care culture we want to build. They train and develop your Canine Coaches, ensure playroom safety, oversee cleaning and facility upkeep, and implement all enrichment activities. Their leadership is essential during the RAMP phase, when consistency, training, and operational discipline are key to delivering a reliable experience that earns parent trust and builds long-term retention. The ideal CCT is patient, persistent, and deeply empathetic someone who leads with a calm and motivating presence. They are natural educators who can coach a team through both the technical and emotional aspects of working with dogs. In addition to managing the Canine Coaches and Rovers, the CCT handles back-of-house scheduling, conducts dog wellness and behavior evaluations, manages Dash responsibilities, oversees inventory and supply levels, and ensures the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times. As the "legs" of the business, this role provides the operational stability needed to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent. Must be adaptable, personable, independent, patient and motivated. Should also be an understanding listener, have previous dog behavior knowledge and be able to multi-task. Preferred experience as a vet tech, dog trainer, dog daycare attendant or dog bather is highly desired.
