We are passionate about making pet care easier and more enjoyable for everyone. Job Overview We are seeking energetic and compassionate Dog Daycare Attendants to join our team! In this role, you will be the friendly face responsible for supervising dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being. Your enthusiasm and animal handling skills will help create a positive experience for our furry guests while supporting their physical activity, socialization, and overall happiness. Responsibilities Supervise dogs during indoor play sessions, ensuring safe interactions and positive behavior Assist with dog handling, including feeding, walking, and providing comfort as needed Monitor dog behavior closely to prevent conflicts or injuries, intervening with animal restraint techniques when necessary Maintain cleanliness of play areas, grooming stations, and kennels to uphold hygiene standards Support pet grooming activities and basic pet care routines under supervision Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's activities and well-being when necessary Perform animal care tasks as required Assist groomers with bathing & drying dogs and preparing them for the final touches on the grooming table from grooming Requirements Prior experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or kennel work preferred but not required Reliable with shift times and responsibility Receptive to training and guidance on how to manage the dogs in our care Receptive to feedback on training Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary along with standing on your feet for 6+ hours at a time. (e.g., lifting dogs or supplies) Strong customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners Familiarity with animal care practices Passion for animals with a caring and energetic attitude Holiday work as neededJoin us to make a difference in the lives of dogs and their owners!
