We're looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, and dependable Kennel Technician to help us provide exceptional care for our boarding and daycare dogs. This position is perfect for someone who loves working with animals, enjoys structure, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and happy environment. Schedule & Availability Part-time afternoon/early evenings and weekends position with weekend shifts starting 6:00 AM and evening shifts ending around 9:00 PM Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and some weekday daytime shifts No calls or drop-ins, please — submit your resume with 3 professional references to apply What You'll Do Animal Care & Handling Feed dogs according to individual schedules and portion sizes Administer medications accurately and record dosages Provide playtime, exercise, and enrichment activities Perform bathing, nail trimming, and basic grooming (training provided) Observe and document behavior, noting any signs of stress, illness, or injury Safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments Capture and upload daily photos (Mon-Sat) for client updates Facility Cleaning & Maintenance Follow detailed AM/PM checklists to keep kennels spotless Sanitize play areas, kennels, and common spaces regularly Handle waste disposal safely and efficiently Keep supplies stocked and notify management of shortages Maintain organized work areas and storage Teamwork & Communication Record feedings, medications, and behavior notes accurately Communicate clearly with team members during shift transitions Report health or behavior concerns promptly Participate in ongoing training and team meetings Support a positive, professional, and respectful work culture What We Offer Flexible schedule Employee discounts on services and products On-the-job training and skill development Paid training and growth opportunities within our company If you're dependable, love dogs, and thrive in a fast-paced, structured environment — we'd love to hear from you!
