October 2026 The Dog Stop® - Kansas City is opening in October. We are looking for enthusiastic Dog Handlers to join our team. Knowledge of the dog care industry is a plus but not required provided the candidate is capable of quickly learning the ins and outs of dog behavior and our range of services. We do require a positive attitude, outgoing personality, dedication to providing an unparalleled experience for our clientele, and, of course, a love of dogs. Must be comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and energy levels in a fast-paced group play environment. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Supervising and directing safe and positive dog play in group play-yards Maintaining a clean and healthy environment for dogs & pet parents - including boarding rooms, kennels, bedding, bowls, and dog care areas Care for dogs and complete dog care records, feeding logs, medication logs, incident reports, and customer communications accurately and on time. Experience in pet care, veterinary, boarding, daycare, hospitality, retail, fitness, childcare, or other customer-service-driven industriesPhysical Requirements:
