Duties Supervise daily dog daycare activities, ensuring all dogs are safely managed and engaged in appropriate play and rest periods Lead and motivate a team of pet care associates, providing training on animal handling, behavior management, and sanitation protocols Monitor dog interactions to prevent conflicts, applying animal restraint techniques and behavioral understanding to maintain a harmonious environment Oversee cleaning and sanitization routines to uphold the highest standards of pet care facility hygiene and safety Assist with pet boarding and pet sitting services, ensuring each animal's individual needs are met with compassion and professionalism Conduct regular inspections of outdoor play areas and indoor kennels to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper equipment maintenance Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' behavior, health status, and special requirements while delivering excellent customer service Skills Proven experience in veterinary settings or as a veterinary technician or assistant, with strong animal handling skills Background in pet sitting, pet grooming, or kennel management demonstrating responsibility for animal care and behavior management Knowledge of dog training techniques and understanding of animal behavior to promote positive interactions Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during kennel cleaning or equipment setup, adhering to team lifting protocols Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly approach to pet owners and visitors Experience in outdoor work environments, maintaining cleanliness and safety in open play areas Familiarity with pet care facility sanitization practices to ensure a healthy environment for animals and staff
