Dog Boarding Starting Pay:

$15.00 per hour Requirements Must be 19 years or older Able to handle group indoor and outdoor play with dogs Must be able to handle dogs of all sizes Able to lift up to 50 pounds Must have your own reliable vehicle Flexible schedule required to work both shifts 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM Must be able to work 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays Must be comfortable working in high outdoor temperatures Job Description Sweep and mop indoor rooms Pick up fecal matter and urine after dogs Assign bin numbers for dog items Interact with dogs in a group indoor and outdoor environments Feed dogs and administer medication if needed Fill out forms and maintain dog logs Clean kennels, outdoor yards, and rooms Ensure all dogs have water at all times Bring dogs to and from the front desk Intervene if dog fights occur and stop the fight Observe dog behavior and prevent fights before they happen Work Setting Supervising 15+ dogs in outdoor play yards Cleaning kennels, feeding dogs, and administering medications indoors Very active job involving standing, cleaning, and supervising dogs Exposure to: Barking and possible nipping dogs Jumping dogs Cleaning messes Working weekends and holidays

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
