Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dog Handler / Driver at our UWS dog daycare, where your passion for animals and enthusiasm for outdoor work come together to create a rewarding career. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting dogs to various locations, ensuring their well-being during transit, and providing exceptional animal care. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment for our furry friends. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine animal handling expertise with driving skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
REQUIREMENTS
- Able to work weekday mornings around 6:30/7am until 11am Monday through Friday
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver's license and be comfortable driving a large van in Manhattan
- Speak English and friendly/comfortable communicating with clients during dog pick-ups each morning
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments including large dogs as you'll be picking them up from owners' buildings, loading them into the van, and bringing them to our office
