Dog Control Officer

Overview Part-time position involves assistance in the control and protection of the dog population. Position includes acknowledging dog complaints, investigation and taking appropriate action including impounding dogs, transporting, initiation court action as well as possessing the ability in preparing and maintaining records. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license issued by the State of New York. Duties Dog control Keeping records of actions Issue tickets Follow-up with delinquent dog renewals Responding to dog problems
