Job Description Our company is seeking a reliable Dog Day Care Attendant to provide excellent care to dogs staying at our facility. Our ideal candidate is someone who loves animals and can provide high-quality pet care for our customers while their dogs spend the day with us. We expect you to provide a fun, safe, and clean environment for dogs and put customers at ease, assuring them that their pets will be safe. Prior experience in animal care or kennel management is a must. Responsibilities Give dogs food and water throughout the day Take dogs for walks in fenced yard Handle bathing and grooming tasks Clean and maintain kennels, keeping them free of waste, fur/hair, and other unsanitary or hazardous materials Supervise play areas to ensure pet safety Perform light receptionist duties, such as answering phones, texts, and emails Perform daycare interviews and evaluate if a dog is a good daycare candidate Create safe playgroups based on dog energy level and play style Communicating with clients about dogs as needed Monitor dog's vaccine reminders and inform client if the pet requires any required services, schedule and coordinate with medical team Alert medical team of any medical concerns and coordinate care. Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED certificate At least 18 years old Prior experience at a dog daycare facility, shelter, or in personal animal care Familiarity with various dog breeds Passion for taking care of animals Teamwork and communication skills Physical stamina for cleaning and maintaining kennels
