$12.50-$13.00 per hour 25-32 hours per week Daycare Team Member Diamond Kennels Resort & Spa | Lewisburg, Ohio Diamond Kennels is looking for a dependable, energetic, and animal loving Daycare Team Member to join our growing team. Our daycare team plays an important role in providing a safe, clean, fun, and positive experience for every dog in our care. What You'll Do Supervise dogs during daycare and playtime to ensure their safety and well being Monitor dog behavior and recognize signs of stress, excitement, or potential conflict Safely handle dogs of different sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities Maintain a clean and sanitary daycare, play, and kennel environment Clean kennels, play areas, equipment, and common areas throughout the day Follow all safety, cleaning, and pet care procedures Communicate professionally with coworkers and management Help create a fun and welcoming experience for our daycare and boarding guests Assist with other kennel and resort duties as needed What We're Looking For Must be reliable and dependable Must be comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and personalities Previous experience working with animals is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Comfortable working in a fast paced, physically demanding environment Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, clean, and work on your feet for extended periods Ability to work as part of a team Professional attitude and strong work ethic Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who genuinely loves animals but also understands that pet care is a serious responsibility. Our team members need to be dependable, hardworking, attentive, and willing to get their hands dirty. If you enjoy being around dogs, working with a great team, and making sure every guest receives excellent care, we would love to meet you.
