Pet Care Attendant Evenings / Weekends shifts

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to animals in a kennel environment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the pets in our care while maintaining a clean and organized facility. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for animal care and are looking to make a positive impact in the lives of pets and their owners. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, exercising and bathing Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a safe environment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to manager and owner Handle dogs safely, ensuring their comfort and security. Support pet owners by answering questions and providing information about services. Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping and scheduling appointments. Participate in training sessions for dog handling and behavior management. Experience Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred but not required. Skills in animal handling are highly desirable. Experience as a veterinary assistant or veterinary technician is a plus. Familiarity with dog training techniques is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for animal care tasks. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare is essential. 30pm.

Tuesday - Friday Must be able to work every other Saturday night and rotating Sunday mornings. If you are not available consistently during these hours, please do not apply, you will not be considered!
