Job Description

To Be Considered Must have 1+ year of hands on dog training experience in a professional setting • Personal pet ownership, volunteer work, or informal training experience does not qualify • About us Arcadian Canine is a balanced dog training company that serves the entire Portland Metro area. We work with all breeds and ages as well as all behavior issues. From aggression to separation anxiety, we are dedicated to helping dog owners in our community build a beautiful and healthy bond with their beloved canines. We use many styles of training from purely positive techniques to off leash e-collar work. We provide private in-home lessons as well as board and train packages. What we are looking for. We are looking for 1-2 passionate and dedicated dog trainers that love helping people above all. We are here to serve the community and have fun doing it. An ideal candidate is honest, hardworking and organized. They are comfortable and proficient using prong collars and e-collars as well as purely positive techniques. They are experienced working with small and toy breeds as well as large breeds. They are good with people and excellent at communicating with others. Requirements Must have 1+ year of professional dog training experience in a professional setting Must be comfortable working with anxious and fearful dogs Must have your own reliable car, drivers license and car insurance Must have a smartphone Basic smartphone photo and video skills Driving to appointments in the Seattle metro area Customer service and communication skills are essential. Willing to continue education Pass a background check Preferred Be able to board at least 2 dogs at your residence for 14 days at a time. Be comfortable around and working with human agressive dogs Why work for us?
