We are seeking energetic and compassionate Part-Time Pet Sitter & Dog Walker to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will provide essential care, exercise, and companionship to a variety of animals, ensuring their well-being while building trusting relationships with pet owners. This position offers flexible hours perfect for animal lovers looking to turn their passion into a rewarding opportunity. Duties Safely walk dogs of all sizes and temperaments, ensuring proper pet exercise and outdoor activity Provide attentive pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication, and overnight in-home care when needed Handle animals with care using animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and handlers Monitor animal behavior closely, recognizing signs of stress or discomfort and responding appropriately Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' daily activities, health status, and any concerns Assist with basic dog training exercises to promote good behavior and obedience Perform light outdoor work such as yard cleanup or setting up play areas to enrich pets' environment Requirements Prior experience with dog handling, pet sitting, or animal care is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal behavior management Veterinary experience such as veterinary technician or assistant background is a plus Comfort with heavy lifting and physically active tasks throughout the day Strong communication skills to liaise confidently with clients and team members Experience with veterinary or veterinary technician tasks is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and handle multiple pets simultaneously Join us if you're dedicated to providing exceptional pet care through energetic engagement and compassionate handling.
