Overview Join our dynamic team as a Private Dog Kennel Manager, where you will lead the daily operations of a dedicated dog care facility. This role is perfect for passionate animal lovers who thrive in a lively environment and are eager to ensure the highest standards of pet care, safety, and customer service. As the cornerstone of our kennel operations, you will oversee dog handling, training, grooming, and overall kennel management to create a safe, clean, and nurturing space for every furry guest. Responsibilities Manage daily kennel operations, including overseeing dog care routines feeding, watering, cleaning kennel, rotating dogs out in exercise areas and scooping poop. Handle dog training sessions to promote good behavior and socialization Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards within the kennel environment Communicate effectively, being dependable and reliable. Requirements Proven experience in dog handling, training, or kennel management Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience highly preferred Strong background pet sitting, or related animal care services Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or supplies Valid driver's license with reliable car. This a part-time position starting at 2pm Overnights are a must when I travel usually once a month. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets.
