This Position Requires Board & Train Dogs in Your Home As part of our training program, Suburban K9 trainers will have 1-2 Board & Train dogs in their home at a time. Because our clients have dogs of all breeds and sizes, trainers must be able to safely and comfortably accommodate any breed and any size of dog, with no restrictions on the number of dogs they can have in their home. Before applying, please make sure your housing situation allows you to meet these requirements. Unfortunately, we cannot move forward with candidates whose landlord, HOA, lease, or other housing restrictions limit the breed, size, or number of dogs they can have in their home. Schedule This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week with the potential for overtime, combining professional dog training, territory growth and marketing efforts, and the leadership and support of trainers within the Philadelphia area. After a 4-6 week onboarding and training period to learn Suburban K9's processes and policies, you will have flexibility in structuring your schedule to best serve your clients and territory. Location This role takes you throughout the Philadelphia area, meeting clients, training dogs, marketing locally, collaborating with other trainers, and working remotely from home. Travel is required, so a dependable car that can safely transport dogs is necessary. Travel for the job is always paid. Without a brick-and-mortar office, all work is done wherever it makes the most impact. Compensation Pay starts at $26.00 per hour, with trainers who have 10+ years of experience earning up to $30.00 per hour after a training period!
